Washing By The Stream

Up till few decades back, village ladies used to wash their laundry and dishes in the abundant natural springs and streams Bahrain was famous of. The rapid urbanization of the small island of Bahrain and having most these springs dried up made this beautiful scene nonexistent! I had to document the beauty of these shy and modest ladies covering their faces while doing their chores happily.
